I think I'm in! I feel a little dumb signing up for it though. I'm technically not diagnosed yet but have surgery august 4th to confirm that it is what they think it is. If I have surgery and it turns out that my two doctors are wrong, I'm going to feel very stupid being in this swap. Something is wrong with me, they are only 90% sure of what it is though!

That's one of the hardest things about chronic illness -- getting a diagnosis!  If you do NOT have what they THINK you have, then you have something else!  It sounds like you qualify if you feel lousy!  I'm thinking about this one.  I'm in a denial phase, even though I've had this illness for a long time -- I'm just sick to death of it! (no pun intended Smiley )  I don't want to take a mitt full of medicine twice a day and I don't want to inject myself with the newest latest greatest and I just don't want to be sick!  I want to knit.  I wish it didn't hurt so much!  Cheesy

I caved in and signed up. I'm weak today! Although, in all fairness I've been mulling it over since it was suggested over in the Swap Theme ideas...

oh wow, i'll definitely be considering this one. i always want to join swaps but i'm never well enough to meet the requirements, so this sounds amazing. hopefully i'll sign up later  Smiley

Yesh, we're definitely going for low stress swapping with this one! Smiley

Sign ups end on my birthday Aug 2 and they started today on my son and dogs birthday...could it be fate or just me being me LOL...

It sounds like fate to me! (but I'm biased.) Wink

Please don't feel dumb at all! Chronic pain is definitely an indicator that you need to be pampered, even if it doesn't turn out to be the disease you think it is. I agree with A2K completely, on all counts! With what you're going through, hon, you are completely "qualified" to join, and hopefully this is something that can help us all relax.

Thank you everyone who has signed up so far. I'm working on getting up the feedback form now, so within an hour or so you should all have the swap listed in your profile (with the exception of if you sent your sign up ahead and are waiting for other swaps to send out.)

I had offered to organize this a while back but things just got way too insane, so I'm so glad you are organizing this! I hope to be able to signup. Smiley

I'm sorry you've had a rough night, babalina!  Here's hoping you get some morning rest and that tonight is better.  Fatigue is sometimes the worst part of illness and a bath does, indeed, help.  I'm keeping you in my thoughts today!
