OMG, if only I could knit. This is so cool! My fiance LOVES Green Lantern (so much that he wants the Green Lantern ring as his wedding band), and he'd totally dig this Smiley

This is simply amazing! You must be a very creative person to figure all this out. It looks great, the fit is perfect on you too! I only dream of having the kind of knitting skills that you have....

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
eta - I bet you could use oatmeal containers to get the shape you would need...

Well, this is what I threw together last night:

I'm not thrilled with it, but it will suffice, since I leave tomorrow to drive to San Diego. I used materials that I had on-hand. Circle templates were a saucepan, a water bottle, and a container of catnip.

Your stuff is always so cool!   Cool

You make me want to revive my childhood fixations on the Green Hornet (I have almost all the surviving radio shows and well as some comics), and on an obscure Saturday morning, live action hero called ISIS....I once made an Isis outfit out of brown paper bags, tempera paint and scotch tape -- I could make something so much more durable now....

BTW: I am totally jealous of the fact you might get to gaze at -- and breath air with -- David Tennant at the event.

Thank you!

I hope to see David and John Barrowman! I originally planned on leaving Sunday morning, as there hadn't been Sunday panels I had to see in the past, but it looks like I'll be driving back to AZ in the dark this time. :-D

Here's the whole outfit in action at the Con:

I did get to go to the Dr. Who panel: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chris_wass/3764973646/in/set-72157621700175163/

Awesome!

Haha, I do the same thing, running around the house finding dishes, containers, etc, when I need a circle template!   Grin
