Nice! I just saw one of those yesterday, in an antique/junk shop, and for considerably more than $15. Gotta love Craigslist!

the motor works and it comes with the table. I am amped. Might need some parts and work, but hell, for $15, can't beat that.

She's here! She's here!!

I have a brother named stitch bitch. I need an equally empowering name for this one.

I considered minty, but my son gave it a resounding two thumbs down, stating it does not fit in with the stitch bitch, and the iron, who's name is lucifer, the vacuum cleaner: sir sucks-a-lot and the big computer: Pimputer.

So I am taking suggestions.  I liked:

Christine
Carrie
Suzy Homebreaker
Betty Rocker
Poison Ivy
Laverne

Open to any suggestions...lets hear em!

I hope you can find the plate on top. It looks like an awesome machine. I think if you don't find it in the parts, a used machine shop may have one. I had an old black singer, and the plate came up a lot. It has to be there to hold the bobbin down. I really love it.... I think as long as there's no rust anywhere and you clean and oil it, you will be very happy. I found the teeth on the feeder to be a lot finer on those old machines... It helps if ever try to make a bridal veil, or a pair of gloves. Doesn't tear up the net, and lets you get a tiny width seam... Perfect for gloves. K By the way, it looks like I am getting my stuff out of storage the first week of August. We'll see what I have then OK?
