Hello!
this is my first post in this section, and having seen the other (excellent) pictures added by everyone I thought I might share some of my pictures from my last holiday. Unfortunately my proper camera (SLR Film) is broken
so I have been managing with my digital (4 mega pixel Olympus) which is pretty good and has a bigger capacity. Anyway, to the pictures (by the way, it was kind of difficult to get bad pictures in the Maldives!) these are the ones I am most proud of!

Okay this is a weird one! but sometimes I get carried away with the texture of a picture, with this one I like the softness of the clouds against the palm trees
this is a sand bar and coral heads form the air
I like sunsets and again this has a texture aspect to it!
we sat in the same place each night and took pictures of the sunsets, the differences were amazing each night
I thought the last two where classic "tropical island paradise" images, the second one I have now set as the background on my computer desktop
Mr Heron was trying to fish but never actually went for anything!! we also saw rays and sharks from the beach which was fun
I have an underwater casing for my camera which is fantastic so I thought I would experiment!
these two need cleaning up (not sure if the ray will clean up at all, but who cares I saw a Manta ray!!! twice!)
this one is bad I know, but it was a lizard (known locally as a dinosaur!) with a bee or beetle in its mouth, by the time I got this picture I had already scared him once so was using my super zoom, which is why it is so grainy!
