I am simultaneously pissing myself laughing and trying not to dry-heave looking at that. Completely and utterly revolting, but also made of awesome. \m/

You are so funny Sarah. Hey--you really know how to provoke a response! A true goal of art! LOL. Not to get too off topic, but will the yolk one really rot? I thought since it was trapped in the resin it would probably just stay how it was? (I'm not a scientist though, really just curious)

What about making one full of teeth that people have lost or had pulled???

My Dad and bother are both dental technicians, so teeth really make me ill to at...

Oh, that's a perfect idea for me! I've been the Tooth Fairy for my kids since they started losing their teeth. Well, I always hid them in a box in my underwear drawer so they'd never find out it was me. One day my oldest, M, came out of my room holding her little box of teeth (don't even ask what she was doing in my underwear drawer!!) and the jig was up. Of course they wanted to know what I was going to do with all of their old teeth and I jokingly said I was going to make necklaces out of their teeth for them. They thought it was a cool idea and I've been trying to think of how to do it since then. They're way too delicate to drill holes in to make tooth beads but a resin tooth pendant would be awesome! My oldest gets her last 2 baby teeth pulled in a couple of weeks. Now I just need to get some resin and molds and practice a little first. I'm thinking Christmas present! M would love it and it would gross out my hubby and his mom, so bonus for me, LOL!

ETA: Thanks OP for posting this! I was so excited to find a way to make my kids tooth necklaces that I forgot to tell you how awesome your spoon rest is! I would absolutely use that in my kitchen, My DDs and I love weird, gross stuff like that and it makes DH gag!

I don't think it will rot...but I also thought that about veggies/fruit I put in resin awhile ago.  The veggies rotted real bad.  I still have my apple in resin but it's not doing real well and I should probably throw it out.  I wished I would have took photos of the veggies as they went bad, so I figured I'm just going to take pictures in case so that I won't regret not taking pictures again.

Teeth are a great idea to put in resin....I will definitely do something with resin and teeth when I have children someday!

This is cool. But is still kinda makes me want to vomit. I think it's the cosmetologist in me and knowing more about toenails than I ever wanted too!
