***PM me if interested**

All the craft shows in town seem to be kind of "old fashioned" with lots of lace and plastic canvas.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, but something a little edgier might be cool.   ;)Would anyone be interested in more of a Bizarre Bazaar kind of show, with more modern crafts offered.  I'm thinking cool jewelry, art, pottery, body products, funky sewn items and the like.  I know of an affordable venue, if anyone is interested, post in the thread or PM me. Cheesy

I would be interested in attending for sure!  Did you go to/sell at the "Odd Mall" event in Hudson back in May I think it was?  I did, and it sounds just like your idea, an edgier/younger craft show.

Unfortunately didn't end up going, although I wanted to. Cry  Maybe next year!

Oh yeah, I'd be interested. Sounds like a great venue for my hardware jewelry, and I'm in Parma Heights. We'd have to time it right and then work hard to get the word out...

I'm excited there has been some response!   Cheesy  I will try to work out some specifics and see if this can happen this fall, cost, etc.

Do you know any other crafters who might be interested?

I am waiting to get the go ahead from the city to rent out the rec center.  2 years ago a show was held there, but now they "need to think about it." Tongue

I even negotiated some affordable advertising.  And started making items. Wink

That sounds great!!!! I'm trying to find some local shows to start signing up for. I got my first commissioned project - a blanket in Cleveland Indians colors. It's for a friend of mine. I told him it may take some time. It's going to be pretty big. Plus I have to keep making new stuff for my etsy shop. I need to set aside a certain amount of time to work on his blanket every day.

Let me know when you have info on the show. Do you have any tentative dates?

I would shoot for the first Saturday in November.

The local high school has a HUGE craft fair for Christmas, if I can get some details I'll let you know about that one. Cheesy
