Hi,

my boyfriend and I do medieval re-enactment and last year I wanted to make something special for him. As he is a knight, what would be better than a favour from a lady? Wink
I made a band he could wear round his arm.

Here are some pictures how it looks when he is wearing it:

And here is one where you can see the embroidery as one before I've sewn the back on:

I am not too happy with the stag head, but I didn't redo it in the end.
The rest turned out really nice and he was very happy too.

If you understand German, you can read everything in detail on my blog here: http://betweentimes.blogr.ws/tag/gunst/.

Thanks for looking Smiley

Thank you very much for your nice words Smiley

Yes, it is all done by hand.
I bought a sewing mashine since then, but I can't use it, so I ended up still doing all my sewing by hand Wink
And I love doing hand embroidery anyway Smiley

love,
Gerah Smiley

I'm totally floored by the detail...and you have nothing to be ashamed of with that stag's head, schatze!  Beautiful work!

You did all that stitiching by hand? What a lucky knight to have the favor of so fair and talented a lady.
