Wow!  This is simply amazing!  I am sooo envious of your soldering skills.  And your drafting skills.  And your color/glass choices.  Beautiful work!  Your friend is very lucky to recieve such a fabulous gift.

If you don't mind me asking...Did you paint the face on and then fire it or did you just use a regular-sort of paint?

If you don't mind me asking...Did you paint the face on and then fire it or did you just use a regular-sort of paint? 

I used Apple Barrel Gloss enamel paint which you *can* set/fire in the oven, but I didn't set it.  I had the panel already partially soldered before I found this paint. Luckily, it held up just fine through cleaning/waxing.

On my Lady Death panel (current project), I'll paint the details and then bake-set them.

I have no experience with kiln-firing paints like GlassLine, but hopefully in the future..
