I am teaching a jewelry project at the library next week for teenage girls. Usually I do a beaded project, but this time I decided that we would decoupage bangle bracelets. So, I got a bunch of plastic bangles and cut out hundreds of designs from magazines and wrapping paper.
This is the example I made. It was originally a green bracelet, but I covered it with bits of yellow magazine, and then I decoupaged post-it notes over it. I cut a long strip of paper and put it on the inside of the bracelet to cover up the raw edges.

And another view:

Thanks for looking!

Fun! And a great way to use old magazines.

Very pretty! I bought a blank bangle from my local craft store with the intention to do a little decoupaging, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks for the inspiration!  Grin

nice, I wonder if this same concept would work with fabric.  The strip inside really finishes the bangle nicely.  I may try this with a plastic, cuff-like bangle that I bought for $1.  thanks.
