I got some cute crocheted traffic cones from kitschkween yesterday. There were 4, but one is currently being chewed on and the other has gone missing already. It'll turn up again in another day or two. Baby Vegas wasn't cooperating for action shots. They got a little mashed in shipping, but they'll straighten out.

I received my "way too wonderful"  package from rlynn today!  

I knew about this, Bend the Rules Sewing... a book I've wanted for ages but that I'm way too much of a cheapskate to buy.  I know I'm going to have so much fun with it.



She also told me I would get a wisty surprise.  I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I was when I opened the package and found these:



A pair of Cat in the Hat hat earrings!!!  And no; unfortunately that's not my youthful skin and firm neck... it's my 22 year old daughter/model.  I teach pre-k and will be the envy of our entire pre-k team when I wear my earrings during our Dr. Seuss unit!

I'm glad you like the yarn...I dont knit or do any yarn crafting so it was a lot of fun checking out one of our local yarn stores.  I hope its okay that it was wound up...or whatever the proper term is...the lady asked and I wasn't sure but it made sense so I said yes.  It was rather neat watching it get rewound into a neat little ball on their machine.

I recieved from the wonderful sunspotted this week.  She sent not 1, not 2 but 3 yards of Amy Butler fabric.  I feel so special!!!



The fabric in the middle is for sure my favorite.  Can't wait to use it.
