Crazy Animal Costumes!

My brain has melted and i need your genius craftster help PLEASE!

Going to a festival in a couple of weeks and there is a fancy dress parade on the sunday and the theme is ANIMAL MAGIC. I do NOT want to go for the boring old cat/rabbit etc look. And preferably would like something funny but easy to make!

any ideas would be so gratefully appreciated!

How bout a deer? Like the hind from "Xena, Warrior Princess," or the faun-woman from Project Runway Season 2 (the makeup, not the lingerie):

I think sort of a spirit-deer type costume would be really beautiful. You could make beautiful little antlers, all sparkly and shiny, and you could really have fun with the face makeup. Maybe use that gold hairspray on your skin to make the rest of you all shiny and pretty. The clothes could be as cheeky or demure as you like

That is such an awesome idea - particuarly the sparkly antlers and shiny body paint!

Ah i can't wait to get crafting - think i might have to slightly more demure than project runway for the sake of everyone's eyes!
