This is a 1 yard square, with a whole in it. The hole has a strip of bias tape sewn into the hole to create a channel for the elastic. Then there is a wide light blue ribbon tacked down at two points 3 and a half inches from the elastic channel. Creating a gown fit for the Queen of the woodland water pixies... which is good as my Ari will be playing Princess to our Queen Twyla at the local Renaissance Faire. We are a fairy guild you see, and she needs fairy garb. So she got it.

And here is an aerial shot so you can see how voluminous this little gown is.



Good thing we have a few months for her to gain a little more height so she won't be tripping over herself in this thing out there.

Are you kidding? This is fresh from nap grumpy girl with messy hair and food on face. Just wait until I post pics in Novemeber after she wears it at fair! Then you will see some cuteness! But that you for your comments aboutt he dress. I am really happy with it. It came out just as I had hoped!
