i crocheted this with a big hook and a vague idea...it came out pretty well! it's sort of in the fold of the couch and i don't have a picture of it on, but it's a regular vesty sort of thing, just below waist, wide and open at top.
i was in love with the yarn, though i'm not really a pink girl by nature--gave it to my mom--the colors are just gorgeous, from pink to purple.  it's wisdon yarns "poems", and i really liked working with it--just bought a heap of an ocean colorway on discount at yarn.com, too, to have another go at this sort of thing.

ooh, lovely colors!  excellent name for it too, poems.  i like the loose stitches from the large needle.

i'm a big fan of using the huge hooks or needles with little yarn--that sort of fake lace thing is nice with the color changes and it works up so quickly!

I agree, the yarn is really gorgeous! I like the neckline/sleeves, that style is so elegant and beautiful.

it's $4 a skein at webs, too, which is awesome...you can't really tell, but that's a "plus-size" sort of sweater and i think i only used three skeins, maybe a bit of the fourth, so it was a really cheap project.  i want to try felting with the yarn next, as the lady at my lys where i actually bought it said it felts "beautifully".
