My good friend is getting married under a tree in October (in LaCrosse, WI = beautiful, but cold, cold, cold.).  I found this great idea for an arch and we're both in love with it.

It doesn't seem too difficult to create if you buy enough fabric, but I'm not sure what kind to buy.  Do you think this is tulle?  Or do you have any other ideas about what would work well?

That's cute.  I'm not a fabric expert, but as far as I can tell, that drapey fabric doesn't look quite as gauzy as tulle sometimes looks.  I would think it's something else that's light and kind of "sheer and drapey" like real or synthetic silk, or organza or something.  I would browse around at fabric stores and see what the price ranges are for synthetic silk--it's usually not that bad at Joannes.  Or you might be able to order REAL silk online--try Dharmatrading.com
