I just got some new colored wire recently and I have been seeing alot of chainmaille around recently so I though I would give it a try. I made all the rings myself and found a pretty simple pattern online and went to work. When I first made it, it was only one layer but it was kinda big and open...i didnt like it, so i doubled all the rings and I think it looks a lot better now Smiley

C&C welcome

I love the pink wire, too. Did you get it online or retail? Your rings all look very uniform, are you using a mandrel or something else to form them?

What a great piece for a first time effort, I bought a kit and it didn't even look half as good.

Thank you everyone!

I got the pink and black wire at Michael's craft store. just simple stuff and the way I made my rings was I got one of my dads large screwdrivers, and wrapped the wire around it, then slipped it off the screwdriver and cut it with wire cutters so they were all the same size Cheesy

That's really cute. I remember helping my high school sweetheart make a chainmaille vest. I dunno if he ever finished it. I like how the bracelet seems elegant and edgy.

Looks nice for your first! Very nice kingsmaille pattern (thats a common name for the european 4 in 1 pattern that's doubled)

Great work! Cheesy
