This started as a pattern for a stuffed squid, but after some internet surfing, I found this absolutely gorgeous one. Kudos missy. http://style.pwblogs.com/2009/02/12/fridiy-8-foot-giant-squid-pillow/
So instead of scrapping my would-be pattern, I just turned it into a mobile.  I didn't color it or add detail because it was on graph paper, so it would look a bit silly.

Wow that pillow is epic.

You could paste some patterned or colored stock paper to the back of the squid pattern. The mobile would be sturdier and two sided.
