One of the girls at work is leaving and as part of her farewell present I made her an owlet.  Here he is hiding behind the toaster:



I used Romansock's pattern but added the wings.  I didn't think my version looked quite owly enough without them.  The colours are a litte washed out with the flash but here's another pic:

My granny collects owles, but I never made one myself for her.
Maybe I try one like that, she would love it Cheesy

I picked the colours because they remind me of her - she always wears bright clothes - but I'm glad you like them too!

I'm not convinced about the eyes but they're the best I could do.  Lincraft doesn't exactly have the best range of craft eyes!

Gerah - it's a very simple pattern and you can make them in whatever colours and sizes you like.  It's also pretty quick.
