I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

This is amazing!  I love any type of lily, so that makes it even better.  The "distance" photo is so cool - You've definitely inspired me to try this, myself!

you should definitely do this!!! if you have a lot of time and patience it's a great project to undertake, and it has a very rewarding result!

a positive attitude may not improve the situation, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

This is amazing.  From the thumbnail, I thought maybe it was one of those hook rug things...THIS IS SO MUCH COOLER!

Do you mind if I ask how you attached the flowers to the canvas?  Did you just use craft glue?  I'd love to try this (although to be honest, I don't know that I have the patience that I imagine this would require...I think I might cut out half the flowers, and then get irritated and crabby and throw them across the room).

i just used Elmer's glue to attach the flowers, and that worked fine. if you're using thick or glossy paper (which you shouldn't do because it's hard to cut) the flowers  might peel away, but using magazines with Elmer's glue works perfectly. and yeah, when i was making this i did get a little discouraged because of the amount of time i had to put into it, but if you're watching a movie or TV while doing it, it goes a lot faster!
