That's definitely cool!  I think I might need to make one similar, but with a key fob and space for my cell phone separate from the coin compartment . . . Hmmm . . . need to think that through a bit . . . I really like the idea of the cards on the outside with the snap flap coming over to keep them in.  Great work!

I love that, especially the red cloth pattern! It's a convenient size. My wallet doesn't really have a pocket for change, so I'm thinking of making one to keep all the coppers in. Care to make a tute please?  Roll Eyes

I love it! I made one similar to that myself, but yours is definately better because of the snap-strap that holds the cards in place.

I am trying to turn all of my non crafty friends and relatives into crafters. It's like a cult. I want everyone to become addicted to my obsessions!

I hope the tute is easy to understand, being it's my first one Tongue  If you have any questions let me know.  And yes, some of the measurements are a little funky.  That's what happens when I just start cutting templates and then throw something together, but it all works out in the end with just the right amount of room Smiley

That's perfect for the college kid.. at my school you use your id for everything (entering your building, getting into the gym, for food at the dining hall) and it gets really annoying to have to take out your id everytime!

Thank you so much for the tutorial!  I made one of these for a friend of my daughter's for her birthday (I also made her a cover for her school agenda, that matches the wallet).  I changed the zipper a bit by adding fabric to the ends like diyqueen did here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=176509.0 and I added the D-ring and a wrist strap (which is not pictured).  Then I made 3 more because they were pretty easy and sewed up quick after I got through the first one.

Original front:

Original back: (I embroidered her name too  Smiley - by machine)

Interior:

Other 3 (front):

Other 3 (back):

Thanks again!
