Doodle the Clown

My community has a small town parade and fiesta each year for the 4th of July. This year I volunteered to make balloon animals. So I made a patriotic clown costume...



I made the wig out of some old acrylic from my stash and a knit beanie.



The white is some old curtains and the rest of the fabric was from my stash... I bought the tulle and my the gloves from an old shirt. I loved how it came out considering I spent about 6 bucks and 2 evenings! The kids had fun and I have blisyers from making 200 balloon dogs and flowers!

Thanks everyone! The best part was that I teach in the local school, so I had many of the kids convinced that all teachers turn into clowns over summer vacation.
