Since I've actually already made a claim for Round 48 I'm way ahead of the last round.

The only crafty thing I've been doing lately is thinking up descriptive names for some of the inventory at our new business.  I'm trying to avoid the word thingamabobbie, because for some reason not everybody knows what I mean by that.  Ah well.

Chat away.

but i LOVE the word thingamabobbie...i use it frequently.  of course people often stare at me blankly when i do...so yeah...maybe its best not to use for business sakes.

i've finished lapoli's tee from round 47 last night (after a major fail the first time around...i need to remember that I have not a single artistic bone in my body and should not attempt to freehand paint ANYTHING no matter how small)!!!!

i know people can be artistic AND crafty, I am just not one of them.  I plan on visiting the local yarn store during my lunch break tomorrow to pick up her yarn that i claimed for this round and then I'll ship out both at the same time.

i also finished skaborsk's tea resin bangles from round 47 so they'll go out Monday as well.

oh and a bit of horn tooting: thesis defended, revised, and approved.  i'm all done...whoot.  I have a Masters now...lets hope it helps me get a full time position so the husband can quit his job and stay at home with Aria.  Its going to be hard to go from having 4 full days with her to only two.

I'm almost done with claire313's bag & shirt.. a couple finishing touches on each & they'll be ready to send. I also picked up supplies today for phoenixfiredesigns's pouch & wisty surprise. I'm almost ready to send on another swap so I'm hoping to have some time to get going on the pouch & wist surprise soon! Smiley

How long does it take to ship to Canada? I mailed my package from round 47 on June 26th and it's still not there. I've never had it take this long.

Anyone had problems shipping Kool Aid to Australia?

I have had some problems with shipping to Canada too!  I am still waiting for a package to arrive that was mailed over two weeks ago!

Anyway.  I updated my list!  I added some new things.  Cotton soap bags, votives, tanks, notecards, loung pants...

Sorry about stalling...

I have had problems shipping to Canada too.  It took like what seemed forever for the package to get to it's destination.
I have also shipped kool aid to Australia without any problems and the packages usually get to Australia rather quickly.
