Only in two places per leaf/petal... so... really just a regular amount of lacing?... maybe I had you in mind when I wrote that... I also call that a lot of lacing Tongue Should I change it?

2 places per leaf or petal? That's a lot, especially for me. I may someday suck it up and give it a try, but omg I hate lacing. I'd probably end up skipping half of your recommended lacing. Tongue

I hate threading! I finally got my bead spinner... so slow still compared to pre-strung hanks! So just buying more hanks Tongue  As to lacing, it is SO boring and totally annoying, but really really worth it! I do feel your pain!

Just wanted to let you all know that the pattern for this rose has finally gone up on BeadedGarden.com (as well as my own site), if anyone was interested.

starcakes,

Since you're a beginner, I recommend getting patterns by Dalene Kelly.  Her patterns are easy, but gorgeous.

You can purchase her "basic instructions" that introduce all the main techniques and also includes a simple pattern so you can try it out.  You can download this for .25- what a bargain!  She also sells downloadable versions of individual patterns, including 5 different types of lilies.

The basic instructions and all her patterns are on this page:  http://www.beadedflowerpatterns.com/patterns.html

I've made 3 bridal bouquets, and beware!  They are time consuming!  I typically spend 100+ hours on one.
