*Update*  I finished the quilting!

I am 5'11" so this is will be perfect for my mom to cover her legs while she watches TV.  I simply quilted each stack of coins with my walking foot.  I am in love with the yellow backing that I folded over for a self binding.

Original Post:
After finally getting tired of moving all these little coins, I decided to just get on it!  I just finished my Yellow Brick Road Stacked Coins Quilt Top!  Few!

It is a nice couch throw size (about 6 ft tall and 4.5 ft wide).  It is so sunny and bright.  It will be a birthday gift for my mom next month, I have to get to quilting now!

Here are pictures of the process:

These are the stacks of yellow rectangles (cut 4x2)  18 different prints.

1st strip.

All 6 strips, each containing 36 coins.

Really looking forward to seeing what it looks like quilted! I'm also very envious of your straight lines!

I really love all the shades of yellow.  It is totally beautiful.

I would have cut strips 2" by 24", sewn them together, then cut that into six 4" wide coin stacks.  But I'm lazy  Cheesy

Crafty.Canadian:  That is the best way to do it, but the original start to the quilt was from a charm pack of yellows that were already cut into 4x4 squares.  If I was to do another coin quilt, I would do the same thing!
