I have always loved that flower (or herb?) myself, and had to argue for it's virtues before, lol I hate it when people call them ugly weeds... same goes for dandelions, really, they are intricately beautiful specimens of nature. Well done, you should continue to explore your new talent, I like "making it up" as I go too, keeps things interesting, and you almost always find something new.

Ah, they're great for first pieces! I think the flower is so sweet. I started out just "winging it" too, and that's still my favorite way to stitch. Smiley Enjoy!
