Hey guys! I just had to share what I finished baking for today's party.

I first saw them featured on Cake Wrecks, and they're originally from this blog here: Bakerella.

I think they turned out great and I hope everyone else likes them too!  Grin  They're yellow cake mix (with buttermilk subbing for water), brownies (followed recipe for more fudge-like instead of cake-like), sprinkles for seeds and vanilla icing for mustard and ketchup. The fries are sugar cookies.

And I left some icing in these nifty bottles in case anyone wants to "extra" ketchup or mustard. Wink

That almost looks too much like a real burger and fries to accept that its going to taste sweet!!!  They are really cute though, and I will definitely trying this next 4th, or our next BBQ, whichever comes first!

Those look perfect!  I wish I had seen this post in time for today's picnic, but I'm not sure I have the patience for eight.

Theatre education is less about acting and more about crafting.  I design and build sets, costumes, lighting plots, theatrical cosmetics, and I LOVE dying, aging, and distressing anything!

Those are fantastic! Is each "bun" just a cupcake sliced in half? Did you cut the "burger" with a cookie cutter? I just love these! And, I love that you put each one in a tray, with all the right fixin's.

Well done!

Those look great.

I love that you included extra condiment bottles.

love these -- I did something similar one time for my daughter's birthday. It was nilla wafers for the bun and a Girl Scout thin mint for the patty, the lettuce was colored coconut.  The kids went crazy for them so I am sure these will be a huge hit for you.  Have fun.
