Who knew tailoring was so much fun?

I am pretty sure there have been some posts on this subject, but I am interested in ideas things that people can do at the weddings. From coloring or something more(?) for children to craft activities for adults. What would they be? For the guests to take home? Or as an alternative to a guest book. Or of course any other ideas...

I made these http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=190245.0 as well as custom coloring books for the kids.  I can find the Word document for the coloring books, if you'd like to see/use it.

Instead of a traditional guestbook, we used tiles and ceramic pens:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=193235.0  I couldn't believe how crazy people got with these.  They were running around with the tiles and pens, showing each other designs, quotes, etc.  It was was really fun and interactive.

...I still have yet to finish the tables. Tongue  The tiles rock, though. Cheesy

sweets4ever, I would LOVE that Word Document, if you would be willing to send it my way.  We have lots of kids in our families, so we were planning to have some markers/crayons and paper for them, and coloring books would be cute too!

As far as crafting at the wedding, it might be cool to have paper and instructions so guests could make some origami creations.
Or you could have your guests create a mural with a large canvas and paints.  Each person could add something to it, and you might end up with something really cool and abstract.
I don't know...just random thoughts.

Here you go http://www.craftster.org/member_projects/sweets4ever/forum/ColoringBook.doc  It should open to Microsoft Word.  It's silly cute, but the kids had fun with it, and it kept them busy!! Smiley
