spice up some of your favorite pictures with color and jazz the completed project looks something like this:

This was something that My best friend and I came up with while bored on day... you can do this with a friend or alone... and its super fun [and time consuming for these long boring summer days] first take a picture and print it off in black and white from your computer like this[best of only faces]:

then paste [i used Elmers white glue] brushing on the glue with a paint brush for solid coverage without those gross glue bumps [you know what i'm talking about] it should look sort of like this:

then the fun begins... pick crazy colors [the more colorful the better] the whole idea is to reproduce the picture but in an Andy Wharhol type style... [for those of you who don't know Mr. Warhol here is a link to look at some of his work:
http://www.artchive.com/artchive/W/warhol.html ] after you paint the picture paint a crazy fun background [if you still have space on your canvas] with different things that the both of you like, you should get an outcome like this:

**this is one i did on my own**

**ones my best friend and i did together**

**all of the completed onesr**
aren't they just precious! I LOVE THEM!
thank you for looking!!!
PS.
if you don't think you can do faces don't worry its pretty simple... all the lighter parts of the face paint with a light color [whatever color mixed with white] and on the darker parts of the face paint with a dark color [whatever color mixed with black] then fill in the rest with the color tones and you'll have a face looking like yours in no time!
***note: if you are doing this with a friend let the more art inclined person do the picture and then the other do the background, that's how my friend and i worked it anyways ***
