My daughter would kill for a room like that. She is 9 also. She will be turning 10 on Tuesday! Any suggestions for different kinds of storage when you can't have a go at the walls?

WOW!  I LOVE the colors!  I really love the black and white flower painting on the side rail! Smiley
What a great idea to put drawers in the ladder!  Great Job!

I would love to see more detailed plans for that bed.
I used this site as inspiration, http://www.matadorcoupe.com/seebee65/LoftBed.htm, in terms of how to attach to the stud wall.  Then, the stair unit is actually a separate piece that I joined on at the end.  I don't have plans for that but I could try and draw something up if anyone wanted it?

I LOVE the color of the walls, very bright!
Me too!  My dd chose them, with my absolute approval! Smiley the wall colours are Dulux, gondolier and porpoise place.

So when can you come over an install one for me?

I will happily come to anyone who pays my airfares from Australia and is willing to feed and house me for the duration of the building. lolz  Cheesy

I really love the black and white flower painting on the side rail!

I wasn't sure about that.  It is a vinyl adhesive thingy from Ikea.  I wish it was in my colours.

Thanks to every1 for the positive feedback, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Awsome job!! I love this!!

My hubby and I were looking at similar online for a whopping $3000 a piece and we eventually want something like this for both kids, wow $6000, and yours has more storage to it.  LOVE IT!!!

I'm definately showing this to my dad, setting out the hint hints lol.

that's such a kicka** room. And the stair/drawer idea is brilliant. I'm sure she loves her new room.
