It's been a while since I've cruised Crafster Shocked ... a long while! Well, back then I was doing more amigurumi, but these days I'm sewing lots. I got into lolita clothing a while back and I've taken up sewing them again, mostly for other people. My latest project was done in the style of classical lolita, which is more reserved and mature than some of the sweet, pink stuff you see out there. (God knows I'm getting to old for the sweet stuff XD)

It was my first project using all French seams and mock French seams. It was a lot easier than I thought and the seams are extra hard wearing and NEAT. I don't know why I didn't do them before  Wink  Other things about the dress:

- cotton w/ ribbon trim
- lined bodice, invisible zipper at the back
- has a matching hair piece made of the same fabric as the dress & lining
- underskirt is separate

Thanks for looking!

That is the prettiest lolita dress I have seen. Honestly, this fits you well and doesn't look like a costume. Very pretty.

I adore this dress! Did you use a pattern or create your own? I love the ribbon trim.
