I would have to put my and my husbands vote with the homemade tortillas, sorry. Shrimp and tacos just scares my husband.

I have to go with the pork.  I'm allergic to shellfish.  I also prefer tortillas over taco shells. Undecided

Also, it's MUCH easier to cut or break up bacon AFTER it's cooked.

man, if i'd only thought THAT through!

And no one beat yourselves up over not liking shrimp or thinking it a strange filling for tacos, I'll admit I was a little scared and a little excited about the prospect and it really worked out quite well

i'm sorry, but i'm going with your boy on this one.  I loves me some shrimp, but the homemade tortillas sealed it for me.  I'm teaching my boyfriend how to cook/bake.  Haha.  Except we usually chose a recipe (or rather, I do), and then we make it at his house for his family and for myself.  He has more people at his house to taste test (5 compared to the 3 currently at mine).  Its always delicious. Grin
