The elastic is for the skirt I haven't finished that's made out of the same pink candy cane like fabric that the purse is made out of.

Ok, I couldn't get a hold of the digital camera.  So here are the directions for the purse taken straight from "Threads" magazine.

I'll make it big so that it's easy to read.
