Thanks guys!  They were pretty fun to knit, just time consuming!  The pattern is Viking Socks: http://lykkefanten.wordpress.com/2007/10/24/viking-socks-pattern-release/
If you look at the pics in that link, you can see what the back braided cable looks like.

It looks like Danish to me.  I've been studying Swedish for 4 years and the was one of those letters that helped me recognize the differences between Swedish/Danish/Norwegian, since they look really similar (to me) when written (but don't sound the same at all when spoken) Smiley

I received ages ago, but I didn't get a chance to take pictures until today (last minute sewing session to create 5 pairs of sleep shorts so my teen would be decent at camp. At least my daughter didn't come up with a last minute.... oh wait. She did, but it got put into the "not as urgent" pile, and I forgot about it till we were driving to camp).

Anyway...   OhThat sent me a wonderful purse, complete with some extra fabric, a lip balm, a first aid kit, a pack of tissues, and some pink grapefruit TicTacs (which I'd never seen before, and were consumed by my daughter fairly soon after discovery).  Here's a picture of the items that survived my daughter:

And a picture of the inside, complete with zipper pocket, and a reinforcing square to keep the button from ripping out (and to keep the stitching from catching on things on the inside). Special thanks to my 3 year old for assisting in the photo shoot.  Smiley

Thank you so much, OhThat!  It's a wonderful purse, and goes well with my denim-centered wardrobe.  Wink

Nice bag!  Is that thing insulated or quilted?  I love the fabric.

This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.

Quilted, I believe.  It's not quite as stiff as the things I've made with insul-brite, or as rustle-y.  Smiley
