I am trying to remember to get photos of the beautiful crocheted bracelets that pjherbert made for me!  Everytime I have them on, I'm not near the camera and when I'm near the camera, they aren't on me!  Hopefully tomorrow!

Muria, I'm really glad you liked it, I was so worried because I really don't know what I'm doing and my other project attempts didn't work Embarrassed  It is quilted, but probably not in the way you're supposed to do it, I just used this stuff that I found at the fabric store that looked like it would be good in between the layers Wink

I hope you like it! I was originally looking to make a pink/brown bag, but I couldn't find any good pink fabric (the fabric we bought as a "I don't see anything better" is a solid brown, plus a pink/brown/beige stripe as the lining).  I  couldn't find the Amy Butler pattern from your wist locally, so I used her dimensions for the bag, and made my own pattern.

I bought magnetic snaps to use as a fastener, but decided not to use them in case you were going to use it with a computer.  I think magnets can also mess with the swiping strip on the back of credit cards (if it's close enough).  Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that, of course.

I finally retrieved my mail, including a great package from sewknitter!

Handknit socks! Meticulously dyed in a stripe pattern, and perfect for fall!

Plus a bonus tatted beaded bookmark in a really pretty green color!

Thanks sewknitter! Now my feet will be cozy this winter Smiley

ptarmic wumpus, they look good on you!

I dyed the two strands together trying to make matching socks, they are so close! I'm trying to perfect my dyeing technique to have more closely matching socks.

It was fun knitting for you, and I look forward to making more socks!

sewknitter - those socks are so cute!  I never ask for socks, but I might start after seeing all the cute ones lately!

Muria - that is the cutest fabric, I love that bag!

Muria, you did great on that bag. I love that you colored in some of the flowers! Such a great idea.

Now that my swap is finished, and down to only one swap, I'm going backwards to comment on everyone who posted already.

Such great packages!

a2k what a great package, love the bag AND the stuffings!

OhThat your bag was beautiful, too.

superhooker, oh wow! the cabled socks, they are really great. I must try that pattern too.

Can't wait to see the other things coming!
