My hubby is so mean to me. lol  He says my soap bars look like fresh meat.  Roll Eyes You be the judge. lol  Oops! Forgot to add the scent, it is Chinese Star Anise, it smells like BlackJack Gum or just black licorice. Yum!

and, some coffee soap I made for my nieces friend.

Ha ha!! I wouldn't have thought of fresh meat, but now that you mention that it's all I can see! Sorry, I think hubby is totally right! Not a bad thing though - I think it's kinda cool!  Grin

It DOES look like meat, but I like that. It's unique.

I have  a Black Cherry coming out soon. My wife said it looks like Hamburger Meat, so I know how you feel about this one.

I didn't think it looked anything but like yummy soap either but dh has a weird way of looking at things. lol

what did you use to color???
I used Celestial Colors in strawberry. I think I used to much but that was not on purpose, it just sorta splurted out.  The texture is from it being cphp, if it had been cp it wouldn't have been so bumpy. lol  I love this bar, it's great in the shower so it doesn't matter to me how it looks as long as it cleans me.

That is really cool.It does look like meat a bit, and that's really original.
I'm interested in the coffee one however. That must smell really good! Smiley

Before I clicked on this link, I thought the meat thing was intentional! I really can't decide whether or not I would have thought of meat if you hadn't said so first...right now I can only think of some adaptation of Carolee Schneemann's Meat Joy that includes your soap. It totally looks like a prop that would be in it. It doesn't help that it's soap either, you know, with the whole naked lathering thing and all. :X
