Freezer Paper faces on T-shirt

I made this T-shirt 3 weeks ago as a gift for a friend.  I had photos of each of his kids.  I wanted the image to look like the children were in the same photo so I manipulated them using Adobe Photoshop by  (1) resizing the photos so that the faces are the right proportions to each other, (2) turning them into grayscale:


(3) Then I increased the contrast until it was almost completely black or white with no gray, and reduced the brightness so that I would have enough detail (in black) to cut out on the stencil. I also flipped the little boy's photo because I wanted them to be facing each other! The next 2 photos are "dramatizations".  I did not intend to enter this contest so I didn't take photos of the process.  (4) I printed each image then traced each face on the freezer paper strategically placing the faces close together as if they were in one original photo.  You can see that I took some liberties in the tracing.  For example, you can see that in the final image the outline of the hair is difficult to make out, so I drew it in free hand looking at the original photo. (5) Iron on shirt, then paint with fabric paints. Wait about 4 hours and remove stencil.
