That lamp is truly beautiful. I remember making giant Easter eggs this way when I was a kid, but you've made something way cooler than my fluorescent purple childhood crafting disasters.

I think you've just inspired me!
It's such a simple project, and yet it's so pretty. Great job! Reminds me of when I was little, and we used to make little animals out of yarn dipped in glue, wrapped around corks with toothpicks in them...

what lamp from ikea did u use.  i made one once using twine but i used a regular wire kit for paper lanterns and it looks a little weird and curved.

awesome!!!! does it have to be wallpaper glue? the shape is so perfectly round where did you get these balloons from? they look like the ones they have on carlots, i might have to steal one! Wink i have to make one!!!
