Hi! This is my first OWS!!
I claim claire313 for a little backpack/bag & altered tank/tee!

1st claim, 0 sent, 0 pending

My name is Sarah & as my username says, I'm a stay-at-home mom. I used to be a lawyer & will be again.. someday. I have no allergies (but I REALLY dislike cigarette smoke!) & we have 2 dogs (a rescued lab mix & a terrier mutt). I have a son, Cooper, who will be 2 in October & I'm pregnant with a boy that is due in October. My taste is pretty eclectic (just to give you an idea - our bedroom is red, dining room is orange, son's room has a Dr. Seuss mural, guestroom is bright yellow, & living room is a failed attempt at an orange/yellow faux finish that wound up looking like you're in the middle of a bonfire, but it's growing on me). I love bright colors, and orange is my favorite. There aren't really any colors I don't like. I'm not really big on jewelry... I think it's pretty but I just don't wear it (I will wear small post earrings & anklets). I'm pretty open to anything (& not easily offended). I have more info on my profile & you can always check out my blog, wist, or etsy shop. I'm fine with used (quality) items or upcycled/repurposed items. I love batik fabric, whimsical designs (think Mad Hatter) & Dr. Seuss!

CRAFTS

* Ironing board cover (preferably a bright or interesting print)

* Swiffer covers

* Felt food

* Clothes for my son (shirts - 24 months or large, pants - 18 months) - he loves Elmo, Veggie Tales, & Blue's Clues. Monsters, robots, & animals are good too! (Son sweats easily so no fleece!) Ska/punk stuff is great.

* Baby clothes (boy) - anything cute. Ska/punk stuff is great.

* Burp cloths (boyish or gender neutral)

* Big brother, little brother shirts - I think these are cute: http://www.wists.com/SAHMama/5be27979e881cd344cba550b8201f233
I'm fine with anything & creative stuff is great

* Crazy hat for my son or the new baby (son has a big head - wears hats for 2-4T; I expect baby will have a big head too!)

http://www.wists.com/SAHMama/02cbfc9aabd93fb63796b226ce1bdda9

http://www.wists.com/SAHMama/73ebd9d326daa5e71d1a0a5a9adaee54

* A surprise (wisty or something Id like)

SUPPLIES

* Fabric - I like bright colors & interesting prints. Amy Butler & Michael Miller type stuff is always great. I love batiks. Flannel is good if it's a children's print or something interesting (to use to make burp cloths).

* Ribbon

* Bias tape makers

* Minky fabric - preferably boy or gender neutral colors/designs

EXTRAS

* Notecards
* Cute maternity tops/tees or shorts/capris in small or medium (good condition used stuff is fine!)

I'd like to claim SAHMama for a crazy hat for her son!

This is my second claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

List a moment!

A little about me:  I live in North Carolina with my husband, giant dog and three cats.  By day, I'm the manager of a busy locally-owned business and by night, a person who is content to curl up at home with my knitting and a good movie (kung fu or Jane Austen, please).   My favorite color is green but browns and mustard yellows are close seconds.  I enjoy a good glass of wine at the end of the day, arugula and goat cheese salads and driving with my air conditioning on and all the windows open.

Crafts

Embroidered Handkerchiefs - particularly freeform designs and as this is likely to get tossed into a purse, any colors are fine

Hand thrown coffee mugs Absolutely adore these: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10760703

Embroidered kitchen towels.

new!Throw pillows for bedroom -- you can send the cases and I'll stuff 'em myself. Smiley

new!Steampunk-inspired jewelry

Handmade Beeswax or Soy Candles. Any scent but strong florals.

Cat bed for my kittens. Prefer browns or dark colors that wont show cat hair too easily.

Fabric placemats--maybe with the center quilted?

PJs/Yoga Pants in natural fabrics. Im a tiny lady. Smiley

Tree-themed pillowcases.

Small stained glass/suncatchers for my deck door.

new!simple, lightweight summer nightgown

new!handmade mailing address labels

Hand-dipped incense

Mustard colored knit hat--perhaps something along the lines of Felicity or Le Slouch

Eclectic/found object windchime.

Small hand-painted picture frames. I have some great trees by phizzychick and no way to display them.

Handwarmers for my husband - in black or brown

Handmade birdfeeders or bird houses.

Hand-dyed/hand-painted yarn.  Prefer worsted or fingering weights.

A set of four hand-thrown appetizer plates or shallow bowls (they can be small-ish) in greens or browns.

Handspun yarn.

Vintage pottery -- in browns, greens or whites.

Handmade, wooden shawl pin

Handwarmers/wristwarmers -- in off-white/creme or brown, maybe, but I'd prefer something tweedy?

Manly checkbook cover in darker colors--brown, black, navy blue. Maybe canvas? Something durable and simple.

Slippers for the chilly evenings!

Polymer clay buttons.

Artisan cheese/bread board made out of wood -- anything like this or =tags&includes[]=title]this

Black legwarmers -- I've got a pair in green, thanks to addicted2knitting, and I wear them all the time. Perhaps another pair in my collection would be nice. Smiley

Anything inspired by my wists! http://www.wists.com/lapoli

Craft Supplies

Freezer Paper Stencil Kit. I'd love to learn to do this myself!

new!wooden or plastic bangle bracelets

new!The 10 Yard Cuff pattern

new!The Baby Pea Pod pattern

I'd really like to make a rag rug this year -- any worn out t-shirts in greens or browns, the softer the better, would be really useful (I think? I've never made one of these before!)

Acrylic yarns suitable for baby/charity knitting.  Any color is fine, but brighter ones are usually more useful. Smiley

Worsted weight, 100% wool yarns.

Hemp/linen/organic cotton yarns -- anything earth friendly, recycled, unusual fibers, etc.

Bare/Natural Wool for dyeing

100% wool sweaters.

Tweed/donegal yarns.

Green stamp pads

Fabric paints -- browns, greens or darker yellows

Extras

Green teas.  Loose or bagged.

Heirloom Vegetable Seeds.

Shout at me if I stall! I'll update with more ideas. Smiley

I claim lapoli for Hemp/linen/organic cotton yarns
(haven't decided which yet...a trip to the local yarn store is in order)

1st claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

My name is Robin and I live in Oregon.  I am married to Phil, a fantastic cook who spoils me with delicious meals.  We have a one year old daughter named Aria who is the most rambunctious and curious little child that I know.  I am a feminist who is trying to raise my daughter to be anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobicanything (surprises are nice) that supports these ideas will be greatly loved.

I am a wee bit eccentric when it comes to my likes and dislikes.  I am all over the board, I like whimsical, edgy, bohemian, steampunk, pretty, bold, soft, hardI wear a lot of black and grey, but Ive been cautiously branching out into the wondrous color wheel lately.  Heh.  I love fun color combinations like red and turquoise.  I do not like neon or Easter egg pastel colors.  I prefer rich, deep jewel tones the best.  I like images of dandelions, squirrels, birds (ravens, peacocks, and cranes especially), leaves, and trees, but I also really like skulls (not cutesy ones just plain ole skulls or even a tad more colorful like the skulls of Da de los Muertos), anatomy, skeletons (especially of birds and other non-human creatures), and old locomotives.  You can check out my wist to get a better idea of what I like.

Some of my wishes (BIG wishes in bold)Wisty surprises are absolutely welcome!!!

NOTE: My wist is very organized (I make sure everything is tagged) and updated frequently, so it should be fairly easy to check it out and see if there's something there you can make...lots of jewelry and some hair doodads, plus craft books.

I claim kitschkween for a surprise from her wists, and something sailor moon related ^_^

This is my first claim, 0 sent, 0 received.
I'm a freelance illustrator currently living in England. I like pretty much all colours, and anything interesting, geeky, pretty, antiquey, steampunky, retro and so on and so forth! No major dislikes other than horror/very grim stuff and the smell of smoke.

My Wishes:

Crafted:

-*Big Wish!*  Cloth pads!  These would be my first ones. I just got a mooncup, so would love a couple of pantyliner/lite ones as day backup, and/or hardcore overnight ones for use sans mooncup - ones with waterproofing/PUL layer would be ace!  On their way from Abbyrose, thank you! ^_^

-Nuno-felted anything (scarf?) in whites or soft tones that flatter the lovely delicate look it has ^_^

-Any lovely handspun/hand-dyed/whatever else yarn or fiber <3

-awesome embellished headbands/headdress things - there's a few on my wists to give ideas!

-Pretty retro/Victoriany/Gothy/whatever corset-style waist-cincher, for 32" waist

-Steampunky anything really - like the rest of the world, I'm a bit in love with Steampunk lately <3

-cute matryoshka doll inspired things

-Subtle, classy erotic flower sculpture/jewellery/etc (see http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5519645  and  http://www.xiaohuiwang.com/gallery.php?bk=wp&gy=photography/erotic_flowers&eye=eroticflowers.jpg  for inspiration!), or a secret-vulva-purse (ie. a normal pretty-fabric purse with folds of soft pink fabric inside that only I will see! ^_^)

-I have mega-dry skin, so if anyone makes home-made skincare stuff and wants to send some extra-moisturising, shea-butter/cocoa-butter/beeswax/whatever else type stuff, that'd be rad!

-any surprises inspired by my wists are very welcome! ^_^

Craft Supplies:

-homemade mineral makeup kit/ingredients (as in here: http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Mineral-Makeup/  )

-Inkjet-on-fabric printing kit  (ingredients for soaking solution, freezer paper, etc)

-Steampunky findings - broken watches/watch innards, old keys, old lace, etc etc

-chunky yarn (can be hard to find!) - or any drool-worthy yarn really...mmm, yarn....

-pretty japanese craft books, or pretty contemporary knitting or crochet books you might want to pass on

-old issues of Makezine, Knit:1, Burda, Adorn, Blueprint, Crochet Today, Threads, Vogue Knitting, etc

Extra:

I'm starting to hoard things for my wedding. It's gonna be really casual - think pretty quirky eclectic vintage tea party - if anyone wants to send over anything like vintage teacups, antique bottles, steampunky bits and pieces, cake stands/trays, lace hankies, pretty fabrics (you get the idea), that'd be wicked!

On the same vein, any bits of pretty fabric, lace, etc in turquoise/aqua, raspberry pink, red, white/cream/beige...feel free to help me build my stash so I have lots to choose from when making dress and stuff ^_^

(PS also, feel free to throw in a teabag/few leaves of your favourite tea if you're a tea person....hint hint! <3 )

Thanks for reading!

I claim zombiecazz for a bunch of kitty toys and candies.

This is my 1st claimthis round (0 sent, 0 received)

Hi I'm Amy, I live in Hawaii, with my husband and two kids (4 kids if you count my kitties). No, I don't like it here, since everyone seems to think it's a great place to be, I make sure to put that out there. I am a northeastern girl at heart and can't wait to get off this island. We are a military family, so moving to new places, whether we like them or not, is the norm. I like just about anything that has to do with cats. I like bright bold colors and patterns or deep rich colors with a rustic look. The only things off hand that I really don't like are pastels and bumpy (have no clue what the technical term is) fabric.

Wish List:

Crafts:
Any crocheted  or knitted stuffies, especially cats and huskies
   Candles, vanilla, fruity scents
Coiled fabric bowls, preferred colors cream, and deep reds and blues
Fabric Placemats, preferred colors cream, and deep reds and blues, my kitchen/dinning room are what I call rustic Americana
Potholders, preferred colors cream, and deep reds and blues, my kitchen/dinning room are what I call rustic Americana
Tea chest/box, simple, rustic, wooden, I love wood burned items
Any and all Halloween decorations, especially for outside
Anything to pamper my cats (aside from catnip toys)
   Barbie clothing
Mesh bags for fruits and veggies, any color but red or orange please
   Anything from my wist

Supplies:
   Embroidery hoops
Lightweight fabric any pattern, for practicing my sewing
Embroidery kits, I have plenty of floss, but not much else
Dried herbs and the like for making sachets
   Solid color onsies, for embroidering

Extras, to me they are supplies, but not in the traditional sense:
Lawn/garden decor that I can repaint
   We love stickers, all kinds
   Miscellaneous Lego pieces
   Miscellaneous board game pieces
