How do you do that? It's very cool

Thank you! It's encaustic = hot wax+resin+oil pigment.  The bird is traced onto tracing paper which i glued onto the wood which i pre-scribbled with a charcoal pencil. the colors are all encaustic paint fused with a heat gun. hope that makes sense. you can go to youtube and watch videos on "encaustic technique"...that's how i learned!
