I don't like to carry a purse with me everywhere, especially when I'm just driving around and want to hold my license, assorted pieces of plastic, cash, chapstick, coupons, and my phone. So I've come up with this simple zipper pouch with a detachable wrist strap: the wrist strap has a clasp so you can clip your keys on as well! Super handy and you always have everything you need.

They're also really fun to make because the small size allows for lots of fabric experimentation Smiley

Any feedback? Which is your favorite? And how can I improve?

Thank you so much and have a wonderful and crafty day!

You must have one to match every outfit! They are really cute and I bet they are fun and pretty fast to make. They would make great gifts.

The first one is my favorite. I love the orange fabric with the blue zipper.

These are very cute.  I'd like one for every day of the week.  The pink one with big blue flower and aqua strap is my favorite.  I also like the idea of using prints for the strap like the butterfly one, too.

Great!  I have something like this, but it's falling apart and I need to make myself a new one.  They are VERY useful!  I like the first one best - the last would be my fav, but I'm not a fan of the the lace.  I'm just not a frilly girl, I guess! Wink

Super cute! I especially love the way you did contrasting zippers on many of them. Brilliant!

I like the brown and pink one, even though I'm not a big pink fan. But they are all beautiful. For improvement, you can try doing a top stitch for the zippers, it gives a nice finished look.

And I'm curious about your hardware, care to share your source?

So far I've been getting the clasps from JoAnn's when they go on sale.. you can find them in with the jewelry findings. They come in packs of two, but I've been looking for a more wholesale source since JoAnn's usually only carries five packs or so at a time. They don't really have a name, though, so it's hard to search for them online.

Topstitching around the zipper makes the lining really wrinkled and funky so I've been sewing them together in such a way that the zipper won't get caught in the fabric.
