Thanks for organising a great swap, Guineverefree!

You're very welcome.  Wink Organizing is actually a lot of fun and not nearly as stressful as I suspected. Just an FYI for anyone who has considered it!

I intended to get pictures up today of the wonderful things that I received from mstelena but I'm having camera issues.  I think I need to delete a bunch of pictures from my memory card or print some out or something.  I'll try to take care of that tomorrow and get the pics in the gallery tomorrow night.  I can't wait to show off the precious baby sweater and pincushion she made for me!

My pictures are on the way the minute that I find my camera cord... it shouldn't be any later than Saturday at worst.

I received the most amazing package today!! DoodleLou completely spoiled me! She took the time to stalk me, find out what I like, and made me a beautiful glass owl hanging! It's just amazing! I am in awe of anyone who can work with glass, and the owl is super cute!

Isn't it the best? DoodleLou says she is new to glass etching but I can't believe that, the soldering looks perfect to me! The texture of the entire piece is great, and I love the iridescent eyes! The owlie was packaged really well and I am pleased to say it survived the trip all the way to Sweden quite well - there is a teeny tiny crack on the left side right above the branch, but it's hardly noticeable! Now I just need to decide on the best place to hang it!

And as if that wasn't enough, she send me a ton of craft supply goodies, all from her stash of course!  Wink There is fabric, vintage patterns, glass tiles, fancy ribbon, cool yarn, and a ton of little bits and bobs for me to use in my paper crafting. I love everything!

.

Thank you so much DoodleLou!

That owl is amazing! What a brilliant package!! I'd hang it in a window, so it can catch the light?

Karin! You're so welcome! It was a fun swap and I enjoyed making the owl for you.  I'm so glad that you like everything!  But I'm sad that the owl got a crack in it.  Embarrassed It was a bit of a challenge to pack.   Wink

Hope you can make good use of the crafty supplies!  Happy Crafting!

Thanks zombiecazz and beki710 for the kind comments!

Now it's my turn to post the goodies I recieved from Bonzablue!  I got them three days ago but couldn't upload the photos into Craftster...grrr....I still don't know why but I finally got them in.  Sorry about the delay Bonzablue!

And sorry the pictures being so dark. I'm going to have to work on making one of those light boxes everyone uses.   Wink

On to the swap awesomeness!

Vanessa crocheted a fabulous little monkey!  I love his extra gangly arms and legs!  He certainly makes me smile!  I also recieved a sweet little owl sachet/key bob.  As soon as I opened the package I could smell him.  And oohhh, was it a good smell!

Then this:  An awesome birdie hanger!  So totally cool.  I love it!  Hung it up right away.

And look at this!  A tea towel that's a map!  How cool is that?  Bonzablue suggested making an apron out of it.  What a fabulous idea!   Wink

Last but certainly not least:  Check out this purse!  More birdies on it!  Love it, love it, love it!  The picture makes the purse look a little wonky.  I assure it's very well made, it's the photographer who's a little wonky!   Roll Eyes

Here's a photo of the whole lot, inlcuding the nifty little postcard/note she sent with the package!

A sincere and heartfelt thank you Bonzablue!  It was a wonderful package!
