I didn't make the piece I wanted for the swap, but I am now ready to make some furniture for my poppets. I'll keep you posted when I get the first one done.

I'm Sew Silly, the topic is dolls, so yes, please show and inspire us. Since some poppets are pretty big, we need ideas, and tips on scale. Please post what you have, please, please

lol, finally! its only taken about 7 tries to upload these pics. kept getting an internet error message  Tongue
anyway....here is the bedroom suite that i made for our new pullip (bnp) named Kennedy.
the dresser was already made unfinished, so i just painted it.
teh bed was designed by me though. i got various pieces of wood and decorative things in the craft store, some elmers wood glue, and went to work.
the mattress is foam covered with a pretty cotton and the bedding is made from some of my Asian fabric stash with upholstry trimming for details....

its currently in Kennedy's 'studio apt' (a shelf lol) while her doll house is under construction Smiley my dad and i are making it from scratch. here is a pic of the door i made for it out of polymer clay and shrinkydink.
