I want to make a doll, not a poppet exactly, but something smaller scale and I know turning will be the biggest challenge. I'm thinking. No taller than 8".

I've started a discussion thread regarding a poppet swap of either adding to your collection Cheesy or making a poppet. Also if any interest in either making furniture or accessories in any media form for poppets.(Polymer clay, fabric, miniatures, etc ?)

Hi "lovescutter" How about making the Poppet pattern smaller, or any other doll pattern & making it smaller. I have a smaller Poppet that I received in a swap & it's so cute! Also the the cupcake doll & make it smaller too! I also have "DinkyBaby" Dinky Dots a real small pattern. I think 4" very small but easy. It's all one piece. Anyway just some Ideas!! Wink

"lovesclutter" Hi, on your smaller doll question why not just sew on the outside, I've seen dolls made that way & I think I have a pattern that is made that way! I'll see if I can find it.

Look what I found at the thrift store for $20!!
Seastar and Ash are checking it out and making plans for "remodeling". I've always wanted a "wooden" dollhouse and I think this would be perfect for my poppets. What you think? Cheesy
