Yay! Our dollar store finally got dollhouse sized furniture again! I bought one of everything (2 chairs though) and some dolls the right height to modify for the dollhouse. I'm going to have to make them into boys, so out with the craft knife and polymer clay! For 4 dolls and 6 pieces of furniture, I paid just $10 plus tax to keep my addiction going. lol

I plan to paint everything and possibly try to make some of the furniture open where there are drawers and such. We'll see how it goes. I may need to make another trip to get replacements if it doesn't go well.

I'll post photos of my dollhouse when it gets farther along. I hit a stall with it for the moment with other things more pressing.

I am working on modding a little Kelly doll as a neko character and sending her to visit my spouse out in Iowa for a few weeks until we're all reunited. I found a little suitcase at the dollar store that had some gel pens in it, so it's hers now. She has a passport, a comp book, and a sketch pad so far. I'm going to make her a new outfit to wear and a tote so she can go shopping. I'll take pix of that before she's packed to go. Sort of like the Little Visitor swap.

5 months and this thread has been so silent.... It's obvious that I won't meet the "end of 2011" challenge but I am still working with my girls.  Our planned move to Oregon didn't happen after all. Decided to stay closer to family.  My girls have been packed away all this time.  My daughter just unpacked them yesterday and they are currently bunking with her two Pullip's.  (her unpacking them reminded me of this thread).

hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and hope to get more crafting done in 2012.

{{hugs}}

I've just got back to crafting after a very emotional year. My home is still in the worrks, but I have made just a little progress. I will probably bring it into my living space very soon.

I got a pic but have only primed. Tell me what colors you think. The top floor is for the bunny poppet Alice from Ghilie and you will notice the hole in the back will be for the little door.
