This lace blouse I designed as a separate removable part of my wedding ensemble to be worn over my strapless gown. As with many of my designs, it shows my obsession with low / V backs. Now I just have to find other occasions as an excuse to wear it.

Check out more of about this and of my other work on my blog! http://arsgratiaartis-shalyn.blogspot.com/

Pretty!  No, gorgeous!

Is it comfortable to wear?

What does your tattoo say?

Where did you get the lace?

Thank you very much.  I love it too and want to wear it more often.

dancingrabbit:
It is quite comfortable.

I got the lace at an Indian fabric store (forgot the name) in Downtown Vancouver.

The tattoo is a Bible verse in the original Greek (Romans 8:38 "Who can separate us from the love of Christ?")
I love low backs and I'm an actor who can't afford to have a tattoo showing in costumes, so I got it there and it gives me more excuses to make clothes that dip there.

knitaholic:

I designed it myself and had no pattern.  I just knew the lines I wanted across the neck and for the back, so I started draping it on a borrowed dress form and cutting and sewing from there.
