Saturday I finally found my iron after moving so I could finally get some projects done. I have been dying to make these bandanna dresses for months and busted out two Saturday. The cool thing about these is that they will work as shirts once the wee one gets too tall for them to be dresses. I used this tutorial. http://treyandlucy.blogspot.com/2009/01/15-minute-dress.html I got the bandannas for $1 each at Walmart and had the white ribbon. The black ribbon was super cheap at Walmart too and I still have a ton left so these basically cost me $2 each.

The girl in one (as you can see she will need tights in public) Shocked Please excuse the lunch residue on her face. She is hard to corner to clean off  Roll Eyes

And the other as modeled by my couch

These are super easy and fast! The cool thing is that you can take the basic principle and make bigger dresses with only slightly more sewing. I will be making her night gowns with this basic idea only using elastic.
