Hi all,

My Mom (Benamaris.etsy.com) lives in the Bronx and would love to be a part of a crafting community. It's the biggest borough, so really, there have to be crafters out there!

Sadly, an internet search yielded a Starbucks which was desperate to have a craft group in their midst, but no corresponding craft group.

Any regular craft group in the Bronx? And if not, Mom is completely willing to start one - she's got tons of experience, can sew, crochet, bead, and is happy to teach if it means having more crafters out there!

(I'm posting for her because while she loves the stuff I send her from Craftster, it's too big a site for her to pick and choose - there's too many interesting things to focus on, and so I am her filter Smiley )

Best,
Nine

Hiya! Just wanted to Rep the Bx along with you - I live in the South Bronx, and other than some silly little fabric store down my block, there's nothing. I've been looking everywhere for supplies!

<3 Hit me up if you do ever group up.

Hi
I live in the south bronx, there is no craft stores to speak of now (can't wait till Michael's opens up @ Gateway Center).  The only fabric store I have access too is the 2 I know on Fordham Rd.  If those close I am done for, because manhattan fabric are way too overpriced.

I like sewing and making unique items.  But there is not enough days in the weekend to actually take some time to do my projects.
