*chuckles* That's ok if it's not a Bubble Tree! It's terribly cute all on it's own as it's own, unique piece. Grin

I really like the shape of the trunk and the branches, but if you find 28 gauge is too difficult to work with, try going up to a 26 or 24. It might take a little getting used to if you've always used the 28, but I find it's a little more sturdy for the twisting. Wink

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone! And Phoenix, for the advice on wire. (And the inspiration!) I picked the 28 gauge, sincerely, because it was the only one I thought I had enough of. Sometimes those sorts of things end up working out!

How did you put the holes in those shells.
I just got back from vacation to Florida where I brought home A LOT of shells like those.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to make something from them, but dont want to smash em while trying to put holes in them!!
