Since I have the summer free now I used some material I have been saving to make a matching wallet and shoulder bag:

i love how you proportioned the bag with the fabric.  (the boards are long and so is the purse)The floral lining is cute too.

Very nice job!  I love all the pockets.. I think I'll be using the way you did the pockets on the front under the flap as an inspiration for my next bag.  Very nice!

You'll get compliments on these every time you use them.
I have gotten sooo many compliments on the bag and then when I pull out the wallet they say "Aww it has a matching wallet!" I am going to make one for my mother-in-law next with a velcro closure instead of the clasp (she broke her wrist last year and has problems squeezing the clasp). All she needs to do is make up her mind on what fabric she wants!

For the wallet I used this tute: http://elily00.wordpress.com/tutorials/wallet/ and as for the bag, the pattern is in a book called The New Handmade by Cassie Barden.
