Hey guys! I'm in such a bind. I need a dress to wear to a wedding on Thursday and I don't want to buy one. I am starting my own business and I would really like to stay focused and not spend any extra money. I have a slight addiction to retail therapy and once I'm in the mall it could get ugly hehe!

Anyway, my dilemma is, I have a wedding to go to this Thursday 7-02 and I need a dress I could sew in that little time that I have. Not to mention, I have a toddler so anything I can get done in a couple of nights while he is sleeping would be great. Any tutorials would be a great help. I have a degree in fashion but I'd still consider myself a novice sewer but I can get by enough to make a nice dress for this event. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!

Thanks in advance!!  Grin

You should try rostitchery's infinity dress. It's quick, easy, and looks great on everyone.

This is the original post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=104089.0 but if you just search for infinity dress in the forums you'll find lots of posts from other people making their version. Someone even used it for their bridesmaids dresses.

Good luck!

I personally like this one:

Make the waistband part a different colour from the top and bottom and it'll look pretty sharp Cheesy

This is also pretty cute, for knits:

Another cute sundress:

For future reference, both the general and recon clothing boards have tutorial lists Cheesy
