So I will be moving to the Tampa area in August from Tennessee. Currently, no one around where I live crafts (except for old ladies quilting, which is cool too, but you know what I mean...) and I definatly want that to change when I move! I need crafty friends! SO if there is any sort of local craft scenes or anyone that would live to meet up, let me know, please!
(My favorite craft is embroidery, but I dabble in everything...)

WHAAAAT? Grin Dude, I thought this was something **I** posted, lol. I'm also a former TN girl (born and raised in NE TN) and JUST moved to the area (Dade City) like 2 weeks ago.

And I wanna meet up with some other crafters! (and I need some friends, too... don't know anyone here... boo) I mostly crochet, though I also dabble in sewing, beading, knitting (badly), etc.

So, are you here yet?

If you two decide to get together, LMK I'd love to join in! I sew, used to scrapbook and am up for almost anything. I live in Trinity (south east Pasco).

Sorry I didn't reply before! Between the move and my ridiculous computer I haven't had a chance until now.
ANYWAYS, we ended up moving to Bradenton, and since I have a toddler that hates long car rides, Tampa is a little too far for me right now. However, I would love to meet up with anyone in the Bradenton area or that doesn't mind coming out here!

Just moved to Tampa about 7 months ago from Dallas, Texas. Definately interested in meeting other crafters and making new friends. I dabble in a little bit of everything except needlepoint and sewing (can only do a straight line). I would also love to find a good craft supply store outside of Joann Fabrics and Michaels so any help there would be appreciated. We had Hobby Lobby in Dallas along with the other two so I am having withdrawals right now!
